🏃♀️ Introducing our penultimate marathon and runner!
Welcome Emma Townshend, taking on the Hampshire leg of Marathons for Miracles.

Currently based in North London, Emma will be joining Olly for the @nfmarathon in the beautiful New Forest — swapping city streets for woodland trails and wild ponies in her home county.

Olly and Emma go way back to their rowing days at @lea_rc_hackney, when Emma coxed Olly and the crew at @henleyroyalregatta in 2021. She’s already completed a few half marathons and had always vowed that was more than enough… so this will be her first full marathon!

Running soundtrack 🎵 — one single rowing/running playlist she’s listened to on repeat for the past 15 years. If it works, it works.

Post-run refuel 😋 — cheese & beans on toast (with a lettuce garnish for balance), with lots of coffee.
