As we embarked on our pregnancy journey in 2022, we were blissfully unaware of the very real possibility of miscarriage. Until, in late August, the unthinkable happened. Since then, we have seen and heard of those who have had similar, devastating experiences.

We were since fortunate enough to welcome a wonderful little girl, now two, and are expecting another baby in the new year — experiences that have only deepened our understanding of how complex and unpredictable these journeys can be.

This is an issue which is so common, and yet so rarely spoken about.

So, we plan to do something about it. Olly is running 39 marathons over 39 consecutive weeks, starting 28th December 2025, finishing 19th September 2026. He will run in each of the 39 historic counties of England, with 39 different people, all with a story to share. 

Alongside the running, we will be sharing the stories of the people who join us, raising awareness and lifting the taboo around all things miscarriage, baby loss and infertility.

Not only do we hope to raise funds to help Tommy's with their incredible work to both prevent and support those experiencing baby loss. We also hope to raise awareness of the struggles that couples can face, how common these struggles are and the unbelievable support which is available in the hardest of times.
