Meet Charlie Gurr & Alex Dale — our next runners!

Based in South East London, Charlie recently completed his 5th marathon, achieving qualifying time for Boston in April, 2026... but first, Marathons for Miracles leg #2 in Kent!

He’s teaming up with his other half, soon-to-qualify student midwife Alex, to take on the challenge together. ❤️ Alex recently ran the Beachy Head Marathon, one of the biggest off-road marathons in the UK.

Running soundtrack 🎵 — naturally, Eye of The Tiger, but usually Charlie tunes in to a good podcast.

Post-run refuel 😋 — he's a rare breed who actually enjoys energy gels (we haven't found many...), but his go-to after a run: a strong coffee and a good slice of cake. ☕🍰
