Marathons for Miracles has taken a lot of planning - but it’s only come to life because people have stepped up.

The project got an epic glow-up in November, thanks entirely to Ryan Stringer (Made by Stringer) - our Herefordshire runner and the creative force behind all the Marathons for Miracles branding. Ryan offered his skills as a contribution to the cause, and the result speaks for itself. Clean, bold and confident, the designs gave the project a clear identity early on and made it feel real long before the first mile was run. Quite simply, it looks epic.

We were then able to lift the designs straight onto Tommy’s t-shirts. Huge thanks to Devina, Clare, Polly and the wider Tommy’s team for making that happen - and for shipping out over 100 t-shirts to support our runners. Our living room became a full-scale distribution centre.

The finishing touch came thanks to the generosity of a long-standing family friend, Richard Tooke, and his company Rich Display. Their support meant we could have all the custom designs printed and shipped - not just one, but two tops per runner: a training top and a marathon-day top. Every runner received their kit just in time for Christmas - and just in time for marathon number one on 28 December.

It’s easy to talk about endurance in miles and weeks, but this project only works because of generosity like this. People giving their time, expertise and resources to help something meaningful come to life.

We’re incredibly grateful - and very proud of how it all looks.
